I attend a programme every Thursday where after Du'a and Qur'an recitation, a different topic is discussed each week. This week the word 'reflection' became open for discussion. Though I didn't say anything in the moment, upon coming home I spent some time thinking about it (or you could say reflecting on it) and was also enlightened to other's views which I will include in this post since it was summed up well Masha'Allah. So I take no credit for the majority, sometimes others can put into words our views better than we do so ourself. Reflection is needed so that we can understand who we are as an individual, as a creation. Who are we? What are we made of? Unfortunately not many of us take the time to ponder or reflect in order to understand who our Lord is. Results Day Results Day has fast approached us, and now in the last hours of waiting I know that many of you will be full of worry and there'll be tension every time you refresh your emails in the morning, just waiting. What I plan to get through in this post has been said many a time, in better words than I could use, but I just want to go ahead and give my view on the whole situation anyway.  Each person is different, but I have never personally been one to spend time worrying about what might be on that piece of paper (maybe that should be a worry in itself). I simply don't feel as though I can allow a letter to define me, and on top of that - to this day I'm unsure as to what my aspirations actually are. I remain in my dreamy mindset of simply wanting to travel and see the beauty that this world beholds, photographing it along the way, for pleasure.
